The bridge at Richfield north of Corning was repaired several years ago and the line from there to the old junction at Tehama is currently used to store a mile long line of tank cars.
Sierra Pacific has a mill in Richfield and they ship occasionally by rail.

The switcher and crew that use to be based in Corning are currently based in Willows and serve all the industries from about Williams north including the insulation plant west of Willows and the ag chemical business using the old Holly Sugar plant in Hamilton City and everything else that uses rail service along the old mail line.

CFNR seems to do a good job maintaining the line and serving and adding new customers in this area.
