I was in Roseville, Ca. (GOOGLE map it) on the 28th. Deader then dead. Not much moving, and nothing backed up. 3 rotary sets under the open cover. (Can someone here substantiate the story I heard that the original SP rotaries can't fit through the Reno trench?). There was a long autorack train sitting at the Rock Pile, no engines or fred. Receiving yard empty. Few switch engines working the bottom of the hump, and a cut of cars hauling back to be humped.
Of note of interest, an entire work train was observed heading east into the west yard portion, near the Rock Pile. (The MOW storage yard is around that area). Westbound Stack train came past the yard office, across from Atkinson St., it's front end below the porch caked with snow, crew change, around 4:30pm.
