And at my mother's house we have been waiting for a particular gas oven that is the only one that will fit where the previous one still is. Non-functioning of course. Three months so far. The manufacturer has a backlog and this model is waiting for them to get around to it. Lots of people decided to retire when COVID came along or, after thinking about it, changed profession. It is worse in the service industry. Lots of restaurants with limited hours or closed.
