For the past week or so I have been noticing a new locomotive on the Mount Hood Railroad, unfortunately I have always been driving when I have seen it. Same thing today, but I was lucky to be approaching the bridge over Highway 35 (just uphill from the switchback) when it happened to cross over with a bunch of loaded lumber racks. Not the greatest photos, but not the worst either. Looks like it is Bountiful Grain and Craig Mountain Railroad GP9u #1639, I wonder how long it will be around? Incidentally the lumber transload in Odell continues to go great guns
