Crazy idea - railbus for SMART

How about a hybrid "high rail" bus that can operate at reasonable speed on a rail line like SMART's. When you arrive at San Rafael return to surface bus operation and on to Southern Marin and the City.

This would bolster the argument for GGT to take over SMART, advocated by some in Marin. In time you could extend SMART rail to Marin City down the 101 corridor with ample funding.
