California High Speed Rail

I know all the work is on the section between Fresno, CA and Bakersfield, Ca. I suspect it will be between 2 and 5 years before completion. (If we are lucky)
Will they start to run trains on this section? (To advertise the potential of the line)
Is the entire line double tracks or just sections?
I assume they will start working on the next section, Modesto, CA to Fresno, CA and will take maybe 10 to 20 years to complete.
I have seen some some of the drone videos of construction of parts of the line.
