Jeff, all the adverse abandonment will do is extinguish SCBT&P’s common carrier designation with the STB. None of the rail easements on the Felton line will be affected because the SCBT&P’s will still be using the easements for rail use as specified in the legal documents covering the easements. The goal of Greenway via their proxy’s on the RTC commission is to remove the SCBT&P’s common carrier designation so they can next move to adverse abandon the Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line. When that happens, the SCBT&P will lose its trackage rights to the Boardwalk.
