The site to where the BNSF will add the new siding is about six miles from Brownsville, BC, to the north, and about ten miles from Blaine, WA, to the south. It's a stretch of track that if not built, will have problems with interchange at Colebrook, BC, where lots of coal and intermaodal trains pass through a kind of "diamond" to get to Roberts Bank Terminal. It would help stage the trains that pass through this area of activity.
