I can see why driving an auto can (in many cases) be faster than using a trolley or bus.

Steps to using trolley:

Walk to trolley stop. Watch the trolley you wanted pull away. Wait. Take circuitous, slow trolley ride. Get off at stop 3 blocks from destination. Walk to destination. Check schedule (darn, I just missed one). Walk to stop. Wait. Repeat steps above in reverse.
