Keith Pregler documents the Texas Mexican railway in video during the 80s and early 90s.
During this time the Tex Mex was a 170 mile freight hauler that ran one long train daily, sometimes over 100 cars long, between Laredo and Corpus Christi. Keith also documented 15 mins of rare footage of the Tex Mex Express transferred from 16mm film that was salvaged after the floods of 1998 which devastated many parts of South Texas.
Tex Mex was absorbed into KCS and is now considered a fallen flag. Keith's video of the Tex Mex is truly a very rare gem that documents South Texas history.
