In Davis as a hole there is no transload facility located in Davis city proper. The yard is really just a siding along the main line. On the east side of the West valley line at 4th St. across from the old Hibbets Lumber Company which has been closed now for two years plus. The railroad will do Rail car Maintenace replacing wheels and trucks if needed mostly though just wheel sets. Years ago, maybe two now Cal norther did do a tie project in this area and restored the sidings in the area north of the lumber yard.
