IOALBR3 UP 7132 EAST ran Thursday from Oakland to SLO and changed crews with no problem at
SLO, and ran south as far as Siding Callender and met Amtrak 761 and broke down right in front of Amtrak 761, and had to be put in the hole. The crew from Bakersfield and only qualified to run between SLO and Los Angeles, were deadheaded home to Bakersfield, and the MGMGU, the Guadalupe hauler had to set out the cars for Guadalupe and set out the power for the switcher to run the 4 GE's up to Callender the next morning and bring the 125 mty wells and 42 loaded containers destined for ICTF-LongBeach to Guadalupe and set the whole darn tootin train off in the 3 yard tracks and put the power on the east end.
Saturday the Guadalupe crew hijacked the Guads switcher, SD40-2 to and ran lite to
Gemco and marked off for the weekend. So if you want, the Guadalupe yard if now a
New Guadalupe storage yard with mty and loaded container cars...
Leesdale on duty today at Gemco at 1030 is heading up to Oxnard for a set out and pull the VCRR late after 2 days of delayed service. UP PSR plan is just soooo grand isn't it...??
Yes! they will be running more trains on the coast and have been running empty and loaded stack tracks and Military and explosive trains to Port chicago...
