It's interesting how the AB5 bill was meant for Uber/Lyft, But! they got their prop 22 carve out and it hit hundreds of thousands of other ICs instead! Also Illegal Alien cash only, uninsured, day laborers are completely exempt from AB5 where as it should go after them first! A few I knew who were insured, paid taxes and had full legal contracts to work as freelancers for their clients left the state because AB5 made them unemployable
