Best photo yet! Now that is an interesting and rare scene. You scored some rare mileage.

When I go to Google maps, I can't find a trace of this right of way along the river.

I do find a track between Ft. Benton and GF that is up on the plateau, quite a ways away from the river. Maybe it is ex Milwaukee?

I don't have a clue about Central MT rails. So this is interesting.
