Sinking a Russian fleet tug with Harpoons isn't establishing naval superiority. If it was, Snake Island would be in Ukranian hands. Russian antiship missiles (air- and surface-launched) plus their Black Sea submarines rule the pond.

Put NATO flags on vessels and they'll be on the bottom as fast as they stand within range. What does NATO do then?

Going the rail route isn't preferable but it'll have to do for now.
