If the city really does kick the railroad out of their yard, they’re going to loose out on all the revenue from the trains, increased growth of the railroad (gotta hire people right?), tourists going into the towns to shop and eat, etc. If Sierra does make Santa Paula their new base of operations they aren’t going to stop in Fillmore and it will slowly wither away. The city council and manager will be gone in a few years and the railroad will keep on running, the residents and town will be the ones to suffer.
