No, it wasn't. I was on a layover in Vegas working the Desert Wind when my wife called and told me about it. We detoured via Pasadena to get to L.A.

And, after THIRTY TWO years, look at how little has been done to address the issue of crew fatigue. If anything, the situation is worse than ever. People at BNSF are quitting in droves over that Hi-Viz attendance policy. They're being worked to death. I'm so glad I'm retired.
