Rail Line Relocation Projects???

It seems to be rather common that rail lines have been relocated in many locations to make way for public works and other projects. The Flathead Tunnel was built to support the Libby Dam Project, The WP line around Lake Oroville was built to provide for the new lake to be filled as well as the SP Shasta Line around Lake Shasta. Of course there were other relocation projects built to solely relocate the rail line like those over Stevens Pass that resulted in the construction of a new Cascade Tunnel and the Moffat Tunnel to replace the @#$%&'s Ladder alignment.
Although the Tehachapi Line is well noted for never being realigned since it was first built in the 1800's.
Are any remnants of these old lines still visable like the old Cascade Tunnel? That Tunnel that supposedly runs under Shasta Dam that is used for something else?
Any other interesting rail line relocation projects around or planned for the future or just to impractical or expensive?
