Tuesday. used BART Berkeley to S to see a doc film just of Union Sq. Although we got a train asscheduled, the PA was announcing acancellation of the next one. Train moderately empty. Changing at Macarthur the city bound train was several minutes late and fuller. After the now normal stop at the interlocking S of 12th, we proceed to SF.
Post film, we head to 16th to a fovorite falafel spot. Trains are less frequent but fuller.
Heading back across the Bay trains have a long headway but are very full. By the time we sit at Montgomery for five or more minutes waiting for two westbounds, we have a a full standing load. We then switch to the WB main through to the crossovers at West Oakland. Between waiting and delays, it is an hour from entering fare control to 19th St Oakland. Most of the pax leave the 10 car "Antioch" train to take the train toward Berkeley.

So, nearly normal pre Covid usage, not as adequate service. Masks all around--saw exactly zero unhoused, nodded out persons, or visible police presence.
