I dunno. I think water table issues rule out serious tunneling, so elevated. Driverless based on Vancouver experience?

Once they get it up and running we'll what the ridership amounts to in the real world. At least HART is standard gauge.

This thing could range from a big success to a genuine disappointment. If the latter they could bring back operators and ramp down to the surface and do light rail extensions to various destinations. You could install pantographs on the trainsets and use 3rd rail shoes on the elevated sections.
