Wasn't Biden the Great supposed to save Amtrak and move it into the golden age? Instead it is being accelerated on a glidepath to long distance elimination. Equipment starved, repairs slow walked or canceled, replacement LD fleet acquisition stalled. 5 day a week, 3 day a week, last minute canceled trains, more never again travelers. Excuse of not enough workers but won't change the work schedules and pay and working conditions to where it would attract and retain workers. A true leader at Amtrak could take bold action. instead the reverse.

This time the Biden (Ayers) admin is doing the damage indirectly so they can pretend they aren't to blame. Intentional neglect and starvation instead of directly killing. Same end result.
