Probably the ONLY realistic scene in that "Annie Oakley" episode entitled "Annie and the Brass Collar" was where the high-level railroad manager decided to terminate the low-level railroad manager when the latter was getting close to qualifying for his retirement pension. I personally know of someone that happened to. I guess railroading hasn't changed that much in over a hundred years!
If you've got some excess money burning a hole in your pocket, the entire "Annie Oakley" series is available on DVD and you'll be able to see the entire scene. Whoever uploaded these episodes to YouTube changed the aspect ratio from 3:4 to 16:9, cutting off the whole lower third of the picture. I think there were some episodes of the "Gene Autry Show" filmed on the SP narrow gauge as well. I've heard Gene Autry introduced that gal playing "Annie Oakley" to his "casting couch".
