So, the first HO BART cars were actual aluminumbodies w/ Athearn rubber band drive modified RDC chassis. (Unlike the prototype they went for a known drive train albeit toyish by my standards.
Chapter 2 Walthers did both BART and WMATA cars--no power and unfree rolling trucks.
Rapido will be superior from the looks of the pix and info at BART's 50th party.
Will be interesting to see if their sound package caninclude the transbay tube shriek.
