The 105 and 109 have been mu'd many times post KCC. A couple of specific times it happened were when 105 was re activated in 2006, and the two were mu'd for the winter photo shoots that winter and for the 2007 winter photo shoots as well, pulling their own trains, both running. I'm sure there have been other times since, and maybe before, I can't remember how long 105 had been dead previous to it's reactivation in '06. I seem to recall seeing pictures of it happening after 2007.
