I subscribe to Mexlist, a computer emailing list dealing with the railroads of Mexico and this is the 50th anniversary of a really bad passenger train wreck near Saltillo in 1972. I was able to have Google translate some of the newspaper articles and, in one of them, this sentence kind of stood out:
