Re: 215' sea level when all ice melts is a fact that doesn't fit the loonie narrative coming from Q through the tin foil hats....

Details....
But do facts really matter to repressed pervert trolls like Nancy or folks fighting the vast evil BART conspiracy like Mouse who post under all of their multiple personality disorders?
All ice is a pretty tall order, excuse the pun, but it don't take all of it, to wipe out the LOSSAN at San Clemente.
It has only taken 2 inches of global sea level rise, all of those years of beach erosion, and a small hurricane off of the CA coast to shut LOSSAN down a number of times already.
If there is a catastrophic failure, like a major ice shelf loss in Antartica, and it were to suddenly rise six inches in a couple of short years, the San Clemente segment would be toast.
Such a catastrophic event might be a wake up call to begin to harden our exposed coastal communities and infrastructure, like at San Clemente.
This is because some of this current sea level is coming no matter what we do now, the carbon higher levels we've already increased in the last 250 years are not going away for as long as ten thousand years, even if we stopped emitting all excess human cause carbon emissions tomorrow (and we aren't because we'd all starve).
Unfortunately, such a catastrophic short period rise of only six inches in sea level would probably mean millions of deaths from storms, permanent salt water flooding, and mass starvation in places like the Mekong Delta, or Bangla Desh.
So I pray that we come to our senses, look at what is already happening and start getting our $#it together to begin to harden, as well as modernize infrastructure like LOSSAN, on a more urgent schedule.
Now the nutters can "flame" away and send us their selfies...
