Weird rant. no realistic hope of every having freight rail service ever again. Too small and no market for commuter rail or trolley or horse-drawn wagons. Not enough nearby wealthy suckers for $130 handcar rides. Weedcationers not the best clients for that.

No reason to not pull up the rails. Remove an eyesore and tripping hazard and make some money to offset the trail cost. An obvious logical solution. Don't drown in foam.
