I beg to differ.

He didn't "redesign" the Wilson system, He removed the entire system (valves, piping, separator, etc) and scrapped it. It got too much crap from the boiler onto those nice, shinny dog dishes and stainless jacket screws.
He replaced this with a system that blows live steam out from under the right side under the cab whenever the throttle is open.

He did the same with 4014.
