After looking at an aerial photo, what's alarming is what's happening in the thick grove of trees on the left side of the river. They're chopping down a bunch of trees and it almost looks like a rock quarry or landfill (probably a landfill) is taking shape:

On the other side of the Trans Canada Highway, I'm guessing there's a new parking lot for service workers who are needed for all the tourism-related infrastructure.

I hope the area doesn't get ruined, but it looks like it's on its way to that end.
