How about the 1000 year flood of 2016 followed by the 500 year flood of 2018? That'll get one believing in climate change.
And then there was the high incidence of lead poisoning among children, leading to lead abatement programs. Not a disaster... unless it is your child.
I don't count sending roughly 20 members of the fire department's Swift Water Rescue Group to Raleigh, North Carolina, to assist in anticipation of Hurricane Florence.
It must be said that the citizenry thinks highly of him as mayor. When he was running for reelection he came out as gay and got over 80% of the vote. That includes a majority of the Republican vote. He's not perfect, but who is?
