Too many things to save, too little money and people willing to do it. Not a thing on that list is really noteworthy beyond the 1501. There isn't anything on that list that isn't already preserved, and one doesn't have to look far to find an example in active rail service. I'm firmly in the camp that believes while all preservation efforts mean well, the vast majority of them wind up prolonging an inevitable scrapping.
