Waaay back when the Winterail gathering was new (1980s?) I imagine it was a blast. I wish now I had attended one of the shows (80s-90s?) when Steinheimer was presenting. That was before the internet, tho, so I wasn't "in the loop" on when these gatherings were happening. I was also a teenager with hardly enough money to make a weekend road trip. If I had done it one the cheap, I would have been one of those smelly attendees who came straight from the campground, smelling like a camp fire and body odor. Ha ha.
