I don't want to pay 100 dollars for a 1930 hardcover book
A big complaint thread about why Kalmbach is not interested in reprinting older model railroad books when the costs of printing outweigh the demand of said books. Quite a few posters poo-poo the notion that model train buffs can adapt to using a digital book or navigate a train magazine website, yet they all know how to scan positive slides/film, use the latest Adobe photoshop or Light Box, and confidently use DCC on 2K model trains with all the latest lights, bells and whistles.
Yet digital media is a big threat to their well being?
Oh they want older Model Railroad VHS tapes re-released on DVD's. I am sort of surprised that they don't want the latest UP Big Boy steam tour's sounds released on 8-track tape.
