A Searchlight along the Coast Line

The US&S searchlight signal was a common sight on the Coast Line up until recently. This searchlight is part of the Coast Line's network of signals at San Lucas, California as seen in November of 1999. It's a shame they are gone, as they provided added photographic opportunity with a holdover from the steam era.
