Ah yes. I'm just so used to seeing baggage cars on older passenger trains that I didn't think of it carrying a little generator. Also used to seeing those monster HEP cars that UP uses...and traveling on an early Amtrak train (sort of a rainbox, seemed like no 2 adjacent cars came from the same original railroad) where the a/c was powered directly from the wheels. At any rate, when we were stopped, there was no a/c, and it got warm in Paso Robles.
