It would seem appropriate on a light rail, as the above have stated for a couple of reasons. First they do run with automobile traffic often and drivers really tend to be obvious to everything. It would be reasonable to have them installed on light rail as part of the original order for the cars. On trains it would be a nightmare to make sure that the last car had them installed as cars are often switched in and out. Trains seldom do street running. Hi Chuck.
