N. Calif. Loco Parts Thefts

Back in mid-March, I reported on thefts of parts off the Shay and WP 164 in Oroville. SP 1727 suffered similar thefts recently too. Part taken were: Whistle Sawed off steam dome (Identical to WP 164's whistle theft) Engineer's sight glass (intact glass unit--glass has a chip in it) and Bell air ringer--there are signs that they were after the bell too. These thefts follow a pattern, and appears to be someone gathering parts, and probably a Whistle collector too. If you hear of anything please email me!
