Old SP/UP Phx Line - Rail Cart Video.

Over across the state line in Arizona, there is the constant discussion of reopening the former mainline through phoenix. I was reading somewhere about the condition of the line and an argument ensued.

Well, Archie Moreno and his pretty cool rail cart ran a good portion of the line recently. Using maps, the rail cart and a drone its a great look at the line, the missing mile of track, storm damage, removed/vandalized signals you name it.

Two videos, over two hours to watch. Remember to turn on closed captions, since it’s 99% in Spanish.
