Landlords and insurance companies very nervous about lithium ion fire starters

My landlord set out a survey for renters to list everything they have that contains a lithium ion battery
Their insurance provider is considering not insuring E-bikes, scooters, solar generators, wheelchairs, medical devices, and EVs
The landlord is considering banning them from the property and not renting to anyone who has them
Will require anyone who must have them to have a $10 million liability policy (if they can even get it)and an annual inspection permit from the fire department
The risk to life and property is just too great
