The railroad delay from waiting for the coroner to remove a trespasser fatality once made me some serious overtime (it was an early quit job, just not that night).
Training for clearing RR traffic incidents or trespasser fatalities can be virtually non-existent, though some FD's and PD's have had more major RR emergency response training. Much of the newer training is designed around response to major rail incidents, and focused on things like fire or hazmat emergencies, and deal with identifying hazards, and sealing off areas, and what not to hose down (like burning Tesla batteries), and "lessons learned" from screw ups like East Palestine. And trespasser fatalities, or even some relatively minor and non-injury auto-train collisions, now often seem to take longer than ever in many cases.
