Re: the John H. Emery Rail Heritage Trust

As part of a group photo, here's John Emery in South Pekin, IL when a group of us rode a UP positioning move from St. Louis to Chicago that ran over the C&NW route on AUG 07, 1995 after a NRHS convention was held in St. Louis. The E units and the yellow cars gave us a nice ride over a line that has largely been abandoned as it became redundant with all of the railroads UP absorbed.

I knew the man reasonably well and it's nice to see his legacy lives on. Rest in peace, John.
