Just got done reading the comments: supposedly struck a tree and fouled the switch with it....if one can believe the comments.

So how did a "tree" wind up across the tracks? :) Fifth columnists in the Woods? :)

Had a windfall down across the tracks 45 years ago;doing 30mph, no problem seeing it on tangent track and stopped way short.

More questions later.
