Agree. Good deeds can be punished.
As a supervisor I have been directly involved in two personal injury cases that alledged permanent disability. One was a broken toe (probably caused by dropping a switch lever on their foot) and another was a low speed yard colision (no equipment damage). Don't know how the first one came out. The second one went to Federal Court where the plaintiff appeared in court pale, shuffling his feet and wearing a neck brace. The company "won" the case and the employee returned to work a few days later, fully recovered. He was soon escorted off the property because of his "delicate condition" and lost his good-paying job. The attorney probably shrugged and went on to his next case.
