Although the breakup of Conrail occurred ten years ago this month, CSX still has a large number of ex-Conrail diesels which still wear the classic Conrail "dress blue" scheme. One such former Conrail diesel is CSX C40-8W No. 7331, which was Conrail No. 6129. The 7331 was on the lead of CSX train Q249 on June 6, 2009, seen in this photo ducking under a classic B&O signal bridge laden with three ex-B&O color position light signals at Grasshopper interlocking. This location is on the former B&O main three miles west of Hancock, West Virginia.
