At Milepost 13.5? Really? Strange, since that's just about the location of Elmhurst, WP M.P. 14.0, where SP's Stonehurst Branch crossed the WP in the middle of 105th Avenue, and the Melrose crossing was up around 45th Avenue. Care to offer an explanation? Did they adjust the mileposts at some point in time?

WP (system) Timetable #3, dated 7/24/174, shows "Melrose (SP X'ing)" being at M.P. 10.6.

UP System Timetable #4, dated 10/26/1986, now shows it as being at M.P. 10.0.

And I'm hoping you, Doctor, can shed some light on when the connection at East Oakland was built.
