I was there last Saturday with my son and we both enjoyed the two towns and railroad. Everyone that we encountered associated with the operation was very friendly. Something that I had not known until I saw it is that number 12 has Baker valve motion, an oddity in the West, but not so much in Mexico as a number of new locomotives were ordered with it.
My advice...don't miss this.
