The Yreka Western isn't known as the "little railroad the refuses to die" for nothing. The little line has gone into recievership at three different times in her history and each time she springs back a little better then before. She made it out of the 1930's so I hope she can make out this time. In the 30's the YW was in such bad shape that the train barely made 50 feet one day because the track was so bad.
