Your post was a quote, which itself purported to quote the Denver Service Unit Newsletter. I had my copy of that newsletter handy, so I looked and it says nothing about Tennessee Pass.

There are lot of foamers going overboard on their fantasies about the DRGW coming "back" from the UP Merger, Tennessee Pass reopening, and many other bizarre things.

As to a train on a lineup showing 250 cars, that's meaningless. That only shows how many cars are scheduled to the train, not how many it will have, how many it will set out or how many it will pick up before it gets to the line-up point, etc.

Therre is no FRA time limit on discontinuing signaling.
