Yard Limits is an authority rule to occupy a main track. I believe you mean Switching Limits, which refers to a contractual obligation as to what class of service will perform work. It being in Diesel Service for an extended period may indicate more involvement than an inclusion to a switchlist.

Last I saw it, it hadn't moved from its spot for a few weeks, which was out the east end of the Service Side lead, on one of the tracks leading into the shop area. That was about two weeks ago. It appears that at some point since I saw it at Topeka, it was outfitted with a light tree off the cab; presumably for a remote-type of operation.
