TODAY'S PHOTO
On 20 June 09, Tacoma started a second year of "Train to Trek." The train travels about 40 miles one way from Tacoma to Eatonville, WA to allow passengers to tour the wild animal park, Northwest Trek. After a day at the Park, the train returns the passengers to Tacoma. Tacoma Rail operates this train once a month until October. In this photograph, Tacoma Rail's SD40s are charging up the steep Tacoma Hill grade.
